Brian Conacher and 34 other New Graphs

Brian Conacher

Brian Conacher only played a couple full NHL seasons but one of them was with the 1967 Toronto Maple Leafs and he helped them win the Stanley Cup.  After leaving the Leafs he saw time with the Detroit Red Wings and the WHA’s Ottawa Nationals.  He was Foster Hewitt’s color commentator during the 1972 Summit Series.  He has written and released a book called As The Puck Turns.

Lars Jonsson

Lars Jonsson played 8 games for the 06/07 Philadelphia Flyers and contributed a couple assists.  He was originally a first round draft pick, 7^th overall, in 2000 by the Boston Bruins.  He has no North American certified autograph cards.

Pat Stapleton

Defenceman Pat Stapleton patrolled the blue line for team Canada during the 1972 Summit Series.  He also captained the 1974 Summit Series Canadian team.  He spent a decade in the NHL and a few seasons in the WHA. 

Greg Stefan

Greg Stefan was the Red Wing’s mainstay in net during the 1980s.  He spent his whole career with Detroit and appeared in over 300 games.  He won a Stanley Cup in 2006 as a scout and goalie coach for the Carolina Hurricanes. 

Jon Casey and Henrik Karlsson

Jon Casey floated around the NHL from 1984 to 1997.  He spent a few seasons as the Minnesota North Stars starting goalie and helped them reach the 1990 Stanley Cup finals. 

From 2010-2012 Henrik Karlsson has appeared in 26 games for the Calgary Flames.  He has another year left in his contract with the Flames. 

Tomas Kloucek and Dale Purinton

Tomas Kloucek's first NHL season was with the 00/01 New York Rangers.  He played just under 100 games with the franchise over a couple seasons.  He also played for the Nashville Predators and most recently in the NHL for the 05/06 Atlanta Thrashers.  The Defeseman scored only 2 goals and 10 points in 141 career games. 

From 2000-2004 Dale Purinton played 181 games for the New York Rangers. 

Jakub Voracek and Maxime Talbot

Jakub Voracek was the 7^th overall pick by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2007 draft.  He played 3 seasons in Columbus and in 2011 was involved in the trade that saw Jeff Carter go the Blue Jackets and Voracek to Philadelphia.  He scored 18 goals for the 11/12 Flyers and is expected to build on that production. 

Maxime Talbot spent half a dozen seasons with the Penguins and won the 2009 Stanley Cup.  He signed with the Flyers in 2011 and scored 19 goals for the Flyers the following season, the highest goal output of his career. 

Brett Sterling and Evan Brophey

Brett Sterling scored 55 goals for the 06/07 Chicago Wolves of the AHL.  He remained a deadly scorer in the AHL but only managed 5 goals and 9 points in 30 career NHL games between the Thrashers, Penguins and Blues. 

After 5 seasons in the OHL and 4 in the AHL Evan Brophey made his NHL debut for the 10/11 Chicago Blackhawks.  He has also played 3 games for the Colorado Avalanche.

Tim Kennedy and Eric Tangradi

Tim Kennedy has played over 100 NHL games between the Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers.  His only full year in the league was a 10 goal, 26 point 09/10 season in Buffalo. 

Over 3 seasons Eric Tangradi dressed in 40 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Bill Sweatt and Zac Dalpe

Bill Sweatt was called up to a play a couple games for the 11/12 Vancouver Canucks.  Big brother Lee played for the Canucks a year earlier. 

From 2010-2012 Zac Dalpe scored 4 goals and 7 points in 31 career games for the Carolina Hurricanes. 

Steven Kampfer and Philip McRae

Steven Kampfer played 38 games for the cup winning 2011 Bruins.  He was only three games short of the requirements needed to get his name engraved on the Stanley Cup.  He was, however, given a ring by the team and is included in the team picture.  In 2012 the Bruins traded him to the Minnesota Wild. 

Phil McRae played 15 games for the 10/11 St. Louis Blues.  He scored a goal and added 2 assists.  He was the team’s 33^rd overall pick from the 2008 NHL draft. 

Brooks Laich and Stefan Della Rovere

Brooks Laich made his NHL debut with the 03/04 Ottawa Senators.  He only played 1 game with the franchise and was traded that year for Peter Bondra.  In Washington he has blossomed into a reliable secondary scorer and has had multiple 20+ goal seasons. 

Stefan Della Rovere played on team Canada’s 2009 and 2010 World Junior teams and captured a gold and silver medal.  He has played 7 NHL games for the 10/11 St. Louis Blues. 

Jamie McGinn and Kevin Porter

A veteran of over 200 NHL games Jamie McGuinn was acquired by the Colorado Avalanche in 2012.  He netted a career high 20 goals last season between the Sharks and Avs. 

Keven Porter won the 2008 Hobey Baker award and has gone on to play in over 150 NHL games between the Coyotes and Avalanche. 

Bobby Butler and Joe Vitale

Bobby Butler was a finalist for the 2010 Hobey Baker award.  He has played just under 100 NHL games with the Ottawa Senators but did not become the scoring threat Ottawa had hoped and was recently acquired by the New Jersey Devils. 

Joe Vitale played a handful of game for the Penguins in 10/11 but spent the whole 11/12 season with the team.  He scored 14 points in 68 games that year with Pittsburgh.   

Tomas Vincour and Josh Bailey

Slovakian Tomas Vincour has played 71 games for the Stars over two seasons.  The right winger netted 5 goals and 12 points. 

Josh Bailey was the Islander’s first pick, 9^th overall, from the 2008 NHL draft.  He broke into the league has an 18 year old and has already played 4 full season with the Islanders. 

Ben Guite and Paul Martin

Originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1997, Ben Guite broke into the NHL as a Boston Bruin in 05/06.  He played a couple full NHL seasons with the Colorado Avalanche from 2007-2009.  His last few games in the league came with the 09/10 Nashville Predators.  His father, Pierre, was a longtime WHA player. 

A veteran of well over 500 NHL games Paul Martin will be going into his 9^th full NHL season as a capable defeseman currently with the Pittsburgh Penguins. 

Chris Hajt and Brad Lukowich

Chris Hajt played a game for the 00/01 Edmonton Oilers and 5 games for the 03/04 Washington Capitals.  His father Bill was a longtime NHLer. The card didn't scan very well.  

Brad Lukowich helped the Dallas Stars win the 1999 Stanley Cup as a rookie.  He played a number of regular season games and 8 playoff games but still did not qualify to get his name engraved on the Cup.  There was, however, no doubt to him getting his name on the trophy in 2004 when he was a regular with the championship winning Tampa Bay Lightning. 

Alexander Picard (b. july 1985) and Drew Larman

Since making his NHL debut with the Philadelphia Flyers in 05/06 Alexander Picard has suited up for the Lightning, Senators, Hurricanes, Canadiens and Penguins.

From 2006-2008 Drew Larman played 22 games for the Florida Panthers.  He also went played 4 games for the 09/10 Boston Bruins.   In 26 career NHL games he scored 2 goals, both as a Panther. 

Louis Sleigher

Louis Sleigher made his pro hockey debut with the WHA’s Birmingham Bulls and scored 26 goals as a rookie in the Rebel League.  In the 1980s he played over 200 NHL games between the Quebec Nordiques and Boston Bruins.

Ed Ronan

Ed Ronan spent 3 seasons as a Montreal Canadiens and helped the team win the Stanley Cup in 1993.  He would go onto play with the Winnipeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres. 

Randy Exelby

Randy Exelby appeared in 1 game, 3 playing minutes, for the 88/89 Montreal Canadiens.  Those 3 minutes in net happened because Patrick Roy needed to run to the bathroom during the game.  Exelby also played 1 full game with the 89/90 Edmonton Oilers and allowed 5 goals in a loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
