The search continues! 7 New NHL player autographs recently added. The grand total of unique NHL player signatures in the collection now stands at 7,645 for 94% of everyone to play in the league.
Nick Damore (d. 1969)
Goalie Nick Damore played 1 NHL game with the 1941-42 Boston Bruins. It was the only game Bruins goalie Frank Brimsek missed that season, he was recovering from a broken nose. In Damore's only NHL game, the Bruins defeated the Canadiens. Damore spent most of his career with the Hershey Bears.
Harry Frost (d. 1973)
Harry Frost played 3 regular season and 1 playoff game with the 1938-39 Boston Bruins. It was enough of a contribution to get his name on the Stanley Cup with the 1939 Bruins. His NHL career was short but he continue playing pro hockey into the 1950s.
Bill "Red" Johansen (d. 2001)
Red Johansen played 1 NHL game with the 1949-50 Toronto Maple Leafs. He had a long pro career, playing well into the 1960s.
Blair Barnes (d. 2010)
Blair Barnes played 1 NHL game with the 1982-83 Los Angeles Kings. He had a brief but productive 4 year pro hockey career in the CHL and AHL.
Jeff Brownschidle (d. 1996)
From 1981 to 1983 Jeff Brownschidle played 7 games in the NHL with the Hartford Whalers. His brother, Jack, also played in the NHL.
Brinson Pasichnuk
An Arizona State University alumni, Brinson Pasichnuk played 4 games in the NHL with the 2020/21 San Jose Sharks. Thrilled to get this because Pasichnuk proved to be the hardest of the 2020/21 debuts to find. His pro hockey career last just 45 games before he returned to Alberta.
Cole Smith
Cole Smith has played 3 full seasons in the NHL but with no certified autographs on the market, he was one of the last guys I needed for the 2020/21 year of debuts. Smith has played well over 200 NHL games with the Predators.

Rick Charron
Rick Charron dressed in 1 NHL game as a backup goalie with the 1973/74 Los Angeles Kings. He was Rogie Vachon's backup in a game against the Atlanta Flames.
Charron and the next couple autographs go in my collection of goalies who only appeared in the NHL as backups.
Mike Lee
Mike Lee dressed in 4 NHL games as a backup goalie with the 2014/15 Arizona Coyotes.
Duane Derksen
Duane Derksen dressed in 1 NHL game with the 1992/93 Washington Capitals as a backup goalie.
Sandy Hucul (d. 2022)
Sandy Hucul had a long career as a pro in the WHL then turned to coaching. This goes in my WHA collection because he spent a couple of years in the Rebel League as coach of the Phoenix Roadrunners. He was the 1974-75 WHA coach of the year.
