Some More Card Shop Finds

With 37 new autographs the grand total goes up to 3,787.  All of these autographs were obtained between 1993 and 1996 while the AHL's PEI Senators were in town.  I was able to pick trough a large collection for the third time and came up with some great signatures.  

Marc Lamothe
Originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1992, Marc Lamothe saw time in net during 2 games with the 1999/2000 Chicago Blackhawks and 2 games with the 2003/2004 Detroit Red Wings.

Neil Little
Drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1991, Neil Little would play 2 career games with the club.  1 during the 2001/2002 season and the other during the 2003/2004 season.

Martin Brochu
Martin Brochu saw time in 9 NHL games during his playing career.  He saw time in 2 games with the 1998/1999 Washington Capitals, 6 games with the 2001/2002 Vancouver Canucks and 1 game with the 2003/2004 Pittsburgh Penguins.

John Tanner
Between 1990 and 1992 John Tanner saw time between the pipes in 12 games with the Quebec Nordiques.

Scott Bailey
Between 1995 and 1997 Scott Bailey saw time between the pipes in 19 games with the Boston Bruins.

Mike Busniuk
Between 1979 and 1981 Mike Busniuk played well over 150 regular season+playoff games with the Philadelphia Flyers.  He coached in the AHL from 1993 to 2010.  His brother Ron also played in the NHL.

Brad Jones
From 1987 to 1992 Brad Jones played 150+ regular season+playoff games in the NHL.  He scored 25 goals in the NHL while dressing for the Winnipeg Jets, LA Kings and Philadelphia Flyers. 

Steven King
From 1992 to 1996 Steven King scored 17 goals in 67 career NHL games.  He played for the New York Rangers and Anaheim Mighty Ducks.  

Antti Tormanen
Antti Tormanen played 50 games with the 1995/1996 Ottawa Senators.  He later played for Team Finland at the 1998 winter Olympics.

Jeff Daniels
Between 1990 and 2003 Jeff Daniels played almost 450 regular season+playoff games.  Jeff Daniels has a Stanley Cup ring from the 1991 and 1992 Pittsburgh Penguins.  He only got his name on the Cup in 1992.  He later got his name on the Stanley Cup for a second time, as an assistant coach with the 2006 Carolina Hurricanes.

Mike Tomlak
Between 1989 and 1993 Mike Tomlak played 150 regular season+playoff games with the Hartford Whalers.

Scott Levins
Between 1992 and 1998 Scott Levins played 124 games in the NHL.  He dressed for the Winnipeg Jets, Ottawa Senators and Phoenix Coyotes.

Claude Boivin
Claude Boivin played 132 NHL games from 1991 to 1995.  He played for the Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators.

Trevor Stienburg
Trevor Stienburg played 72 regular season+playoff games for the Quebec Nordiques between 1986 and 1989.  He's been head coach of St. Mary's University's hockey team since 1997. 

Richard Kromm
Between 1983 and 1993 Richard Kromm played well over 400 regular season+playoff games in the NHL.  He played for both the Calgary Flames and New York Islanders.  His father, Bobby Kromm, was an NHL head coach.

Roy Mitchell
Originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1989, Roy Mitchell played 3 games for the 1992/1993 Minnesota North Stars. 

Craig Duncanson
Between 1986 and 1993 Craig Duncanson played 38 games in the NHL.  Drafted 9th overall by the Kings in 1985, he only scored 5 career goals in the NHL.  He played for the Kings, Jets and Rangers.

Chris Jensen
Between 1986 and 1992 Chris Jensen played 74 games in the NHL, scoring 9 goals and 21 points.  He dressed for both the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers. 

Rich Chernomaz
Between 1981 and 1992 Rich Chernomaz played 51 games in the NHL.  He played for the Colorado Rockies, New Jersey Devils and Calgary Flames.

Luc Gauthier
An undrafted Quebec native, Luc Gauthier played 3 games for the 1990/1991 Montreal Canadiens. 

Ralph Intranuovo
Between 1995 and 1997 Ralph Intranuovo played 22 games in the NHL.  He played for the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs. 

Christian Proulx
Christian Proulx played 7 games for the 1993/1994 Montreal Canadiens.

Alan Letang
Drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in 1993, Alan Letang played 14 games in the NHL between 1999 and 2003.   He played a handful of games for the Dallas Stars, Calgary Flames and New York Islanders.  He still plays pro hockey in the KHL.

Jason Widmer
Jason Widmer played 7 games in the NHL.  He played 5 games for the Islanders between 1994 and 1996 then later played 2 games for the 1996/97 San Jose Sharks. 

Terry Virtue
Terry Virtue had a long pro hockey career but saw just 5 games in the NHL.  He suited up in 4 games with the 1998/1999 Boston Bruins and 1 game with the 1999/2000 New York Rangers.

Todd Simon
Todd Simon played 20 regular season+playoff games for the 1993/1994 Buffalo Sabres.  He scored his only career NHL goal in the playoffs.

Herbert Vasiljevs
An undrafted Latvian forward, Herbert Vasiljevs played 51 NHL games between 1998 and 2002.  He dressed for the Florida Panthers, Atlanta Thrashers and Vancouver Canucks.

Dave Duerden
Dave Duerden played 2 games for the 1999/2000 Florida Panthers. 

Rory Fitzpatrick
Between 1995 and 2008 Rory Fitzpatrick played over 300 regular season+playoff games in the NHL.  He played for the Canadiens, Blues, Predators, Sabres, Canucks and Flyers.

Mike Maneluk
Between 1998 and 2001 Mike Maneluk played 85 games in the NHL, scoring 11 goals and 21 points.  He dressed for the Philadelphia Flyers, Chicago Blackhawks,  New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets.  

Marko Kirprusoff
Finnish defenceman Marko Kirpusoff had two separate stints in North America.  He played 24 games for the 1995/1996 Montreal Canadiens and then 27 games for the 2001/2002 New York Islanders.  He's the older brother of goalie Mikka Kiprusoff.

Evgeny Namestnikov
Between 1993 and 2000 John Namestnikov played 45 regular season+playoff games in the NHL.  The Russian born defenceman played for the Vancouver Canucks, New York Islanders and Nashville Predators.

Brian Loney
Brian Loney scored 2 goals and 5 points in 12 games with the 1995/1996 Vancouver Canucks.

Dan Kesa
Dan Kesa played over 150 regular season+playoff games in the NHL between 1993 and 2000.  He played for the Canucks, Stars, Penguins and Lightning. 

Matt Martin
This particular Matt Martin played 76 games in the NHL between 1993 and 1997 with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Todd Nelson
Todd Nelson played 1 game for the 1991/1992 Pittsburgh Penguins and then 6 regular season+playoff games for the 1993/94 Washington Capitals. He returned to the NHL as an assistant coach with the Atlanta Thrashers from 2008 to 2010. His brother Jeff also played in the NHL.

Chris Armstrong
Originally drafted by the Florida Panthers in 1993, Chris Armstrong made his NHL debut with the 2000/2001 Minnesota Wild.  He played 3 games for the team that season.  Armstrong later played another 4 NHL games with the 2003/2004 Anaheim Mighty Ducks.

Boris Rousson
The 38th autograph I picked up falls outside of my NHL autograph collection because altough Rousson appeared in the NHL, he only dressed as a backup.  See his profile on my other blog here. Rousson dressed in 11 NHL games with the 1991/1992 New York Rangers.

  2. Thanks for the comment. I could have sworn that I saw a couple other Brochus in the collection. Next time I'm at the shop I'm pick one up.
