I've added 35 new NHL signatures to my collection since the last post. The grand total now stands at 3,432 unique NHL player autographs. The 50% mark is getting ever so close now and I hope to reach it in in a couple months.
Guy Lapointe and Kim Clackson
Guy Lapointe's achievements are numerous. He is a 6 time Stanley Cup winner, member of the 1972 Summit Series, 4 time NHL All-Star and 1993 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee.
In the NHL Kim Clackson played a season for the Penguins, 1979/80, and a season for the Nordiques, 1980/81. In that short span he recorded 440 penalty minutes. Through 4 seasons in the WHA he amassed over 1000 penalty minutes and was one of the most feared fighters of his generation.
Cam Connor and Jay Caufield
Cam Connor began his NHL career as a member of the Stanley Cup winning 1979 Montreal Canadiens. He played just over 100 NHL games between the Habs, Oilers and Rangers. Prior to joining the NHL he had played 4 full seasons in the WHA were he saw just under 1000 minutes in the penalty box but also scored 80+ goals.
Right winger Jay Caufield's sole job in the NHL was to fight. In over 200 career NHL games between the Rangers, North Stars and Penguins he scored only 13 points but picked up 800+ minutes in the sin bin. As a Penguin he won the Stanley Cup in both 1991 and 1992.
Rocky Thompson ad Todd Fedoruk
Rocky Thompson was strictly an enforcer. He recorded no points in his 25 career NHL games, just 117 penalty minutes. He played briefly for the Calgary Flames between 1997 and 1999 and the Florida Panthers between 2000 and 2002.
Between 2000 and 2010 Todd Fedoruk played 500+ NHL games, recording over 1000 penalty minutes. He dressed for the Flyers, Mighty Ducks, Stars, Wild, Coyotes and Lightning.
John Druce
Between 1988 and 1998 John Druce played well over 500 games in the NHL. He receives his first certified autograph in 2013 thanks to ITG. He played for the Capitals, Jets, Kings and Flyers.
Michael Stone and Mike Duco
Defenseman Michael Stone is entering his second season as a full time member of the Coyotes.
Mike Duco has played 18 games in the NHL between the Florida Panthers and Vancouver Canucks.
Xavier Ouellet
A 2011 second round draft pick, Xavier Ouellet recently played a couple games for the Detroit Red Wings.
Serge Boisvert and Larry Keenan
Including the playoffs Serge Boisvert played a grand total of 69 NHL games between the Maple Leafs and Canadiens. His most notable accomplishment is helping the Habs claim the 1986 Stanley Cup.
Between 1961 and 1972 Larry Keenan played 250+ NHL games. He dressed for the Leafs, Blues, Sabres and Flyers.
Bryan McSheffrey and Glen Richardson
Bryan McSheffrey played 90 NHL games in the mid 1970s between the Canucks and Sabres.
Glen Richardson scored 3 goals and 9 points while dressing in 24 games for the 1975/76 Vancouver Canucks.
Michal Barinka and Jeff Daw
Czech Michal Barinka played 34 games in the NHL for the Blackhawks between 2003 and 2006.
Jeff Daw played a single game in the NHL, dressing once for the 2001/02 Colorado Avalanche.
Darcy Campbell and Jay Henderson
Darcy Campbell is a 'one game wonder.' He played a single game for the 2006/2007 Columbus Blue Jackets.
Between 1998 and 2001 Jay Henderson dressed in 33 games for the Boston Bruins, scoring 1 goal and 4 points.
Steve Nemeth and Tom Williams
Steve Nemeth saw 12 games of NHL action with the 1987/88 New York Rangers.
Through the 1970s Tom Williams played 400+ NHL games between the Rangers and Kings.
Claude Noel and Ron Homenuke
Best known as head coach of the Winnipeg Jets, Claude Noel played 7 games for the 1979/80 Washington Capitals.
Ron Homenuke played 1 game for the Vancouver Canucks in 1972. He had an interesting life and has written an autobiography, you can read about it here. He's currently a missionary in the Philippines.
Mike Hudson and Mark Ferner
Between 1988 and 1997 the well traveled Mike Hudson dressed in 450+ NHL games while seeing time with the Blackhawks, Oilers, Rangers, Penguins, Leafs, Blues and Coyotes. He played enough games with the 1994 New York Rangers to get his name on the Stanley Cup.
Between 1987 and 1995 Mark Ferner played 91 NHL games. He played for the Sabres, Capitals, Mighty Ducks and Red Wings. He most notable for being a member of the inaugural 1993 Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
David Latta and Jean-Marc Gaulin
Between 1986 and 1991 David Latta dressed in 36 games for the Quebec Nordiques, scoring 4 goals and 12 points.
Between 1982 and 1986 Jean-Marc Gaulin played 27 games for the Nordiques, scoring 4 goals and 7 points.
Bill Terry and Gord Sherven
Bill Terry played 5 games for the 1987/1988 Minnesota North Stars.
Between 1984 and 1988 Gord Sherven played 100 games in the NHL. He was a member of the Stanley Cup winning 1984 Edmonton Oilers but his 2 regular season games played weren't enough to warrant his name on the trophy.
Simon Wheeldon and Dale McTavish
Between 1987 and 1991 Simon Wheeldon played 15 games between the Rangers and Jets, recording 2 assists.
Dale McTavish scored 1 goal and 3 points during his 9 game NHL career with the 1996/1997 Calgary Flames. He recently retired in 2011 after many years in Europe.
Jim Moxey and Mark Reeds
Between 1974 and 1977 Jim Moxey scored 22 goals and 49 points in the NHL while he saw time playing for the California Seals, Los Angeles Kings and Cleveland Barons.
Currently an assistant coach with the Ottawa Senators, Mark Reeds played 400+ games in the NHL between the Blues and Whalers.
Joe Zanussi and Ed Diachuk
I apologize for the crooked scan here. Joe Zanussi played 2 seasons in the WHA and just under 100 games in the NHL, were he saw time with the Rangers, Bruins and Blues.
Ed Diachuk played 12 games for the 1960/1961 Detroit Red Wings. He was too ill to sign my card but his daughter wrote me a note and included a couple signed blank index cards and a picture that he had signed some time ago. I'll be sending a thank you card as this gesture was much appreciated.
Steve Patrick (Jr.) and Steve Patrick (Sr.)
Though the 1980s Steve Patrick Jr. played 250+ NHL games between the Sabres, Rangers and Nordiques. His brother, James, also played in the NHL.
His father, Steve Patrick Sr., was not a hockey player but goes into my oddball collection as he played many years in the CFL for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Michael Hutchinson and Robert Mayer
Both Michael Hutchinson and Robert Mayer only reached the NHL as backup goalies. Hutchinson served as the Bruins backup on 2 separate occasions. Robert Mayer dressed in 5 games for the Montreal Canadiens.
Don Borgeson
Don Borgeson spent 2 seasons in the WHA, paying in 150+ games between the Phoenix Roadrunner, New England Whalers and Ottawa Civics. I accidentally had another player on the card I made, as it sometime happens when I poach photos from the web, so he signed a blank index for me instead.
