Pat Quinn, Mike Nykoluk and Brian Mullen
Quinn was a rugged player who spent 9 years in the NHL playing for Toronto, Vancouver and Atlanta. He was a successful coach and was bench boss in the NHL for Philly, LA, Vancouver, Toronto and Edmonton. Mike Nykoluk played 32 games for the 56/57 Toronto Maple Leafs. He was an MVP in the AHL and topped his team in scoring for many years. He won the 1974 and 1975 Stanley Cup and an assistant coach in Philadelphia. Mullen played in the NHL for 10 years and was an effective player on each team he dressed for. Between the Jets, Rangers, Sharks and Islanders he scored 260 goals and 622 points in 832 regular season games. The brother of Joe Mullen, Brian's career was cut short by a stroke.
Mike Goldberg and Marc-Andre Cliche
While it's a UFC card, Goldberg used to do play by play for the Detroit Red Wings and the Minnesota Wild. I thought it was a timely pickup with Panini's new Voices of the Game autograph cards incoming. It goes into my "oddball" binder. Cliche played 1 game for the 09/10 Los Angeles Kings but is still in their system.
Karl Goehring and Dan Jancevski
Like the index indicates, he appeared only as a backup, doing so in the 06/07 NHL season. His only RC was in 06/07 OPC. Jancevski appeared in 9 NHL games, 7 with Dallas and 2 with Tampa. He still plays for the Flyer's AHL team. Jancevski has RC cards pictured in a Montreal Canadiens uniform even though he only played for the club's minor league team.
